What is it that you are doing?
THE TEAM OF ANGELS MISSION is to spread hope to people who are overwhelmed, hurting or facing adversity. I am looking for 50,000 people who are lonely, sad, depressed, overwhelmed, or in need of comfort and friendship. I have prepared a presentation titled TEA, TALK AND A TEAM OF ANGELS. I am available for speaking engagements for those who want to hear my own story of going through a challenging time…and the heartwarming and poignant stories of the 30,000 people who contacted me worldwide.

What were you doing before you started the angel pin project?
I was a writer and author of six books published by Doubleday, Writer’s Digest Books, Betterway Books, Baby’s First Book Club and other major publishers. That seems like a lifetime ago. Over the years, I have been a guest on Oprah three times, Good MorningAmerica, Sally Jessy Raphael – two times, Maury Povich – two times, The Early Show, CNN – two times, CNBC, QVC – two times, The 700 Club – two times, Financial News Network, EWTN and many television and radio shows.

What was going on in your life that brought you to this idea?
I began to doubt that my life would be “normal” again. Nightmares, struggles, mistakes I’d made, terrible disagreements, depression, accidents, my daughter’s car flipping on a lonely stretch of highway, illnesses, and fears – they were all part of God’s wake-up call for my life.

What is your background?
I grew up in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Philadelphia). I have been an instructor and consultant on several business, publishing and parenting levels. I hold a BA in Education from Villanova University and a MBA in Financial Management from Saint Joseph’s University. I have completed coursework towards a graduate degree in education from Temple University and Marywood College. During my college years, I attended a semester at the Universidad de las Americas in Mexico. In recent years, I was an instructor in the New Choices, New Options Program for Women in Transition at Montgomery County Community College. I was a talk-show program host on a tri-state radio broadcast, “COME SHARE YOUR FAITH.” I have worked as a media consultant/ product spokesperson for several products including Lysol Disinfectant Spray, OFF Skintastic Insect Repellant, Stouffer Foods, Holiday Inn Worldwide, The Scotsman Group, Inc., Resolve Carpet Cleaner, Eastwind Airlines, Environments, Inc. and Johnson and Johnson for a promotion for a first aid kit.
